How B2B barter works: cash difference, three-way cycles and fair value

Swapping stock you hold for goods you need protects cash flow. On MİTA a swap runs on a market reference and a sealed contract.

01Two-party swap

A company offers one of its listings in exchange for the other side's listing. If the values differ, the gap is settled in cash: cash difference = |value received − value given|, and the side giving less pays it.

The other side can accept, reject, or counter with a different quantity. Once both approve, the platform closes the contract with a SHA-256 seal that anyone can check on the /verify page.

02Three-way and multi-party cycles

What A wants may sit with B, what B wants with C, and what C wants with A. MİTA finds these cycles from the "wanted in barter" field on listings and proposes them. Each party's net = received − given; a party with a positive net pays the difference, and the payment instructions go into the contract.

03Fair-value shield

The biggest barter risk is inflated value. If a listing's price is more than twice the market reference built from at least three listings in the same category and unit, the proposal is stopped. The reference uses MİTA listings only; no prices are collected from other sites.

04What MİTA does not do

MİTA runs no barter credit, virtual currency or escrow. Goods and the cash difference move directly between the companies.
